I have spoken with the Graphic Arts department at the James A. Forrest & Technology Center. They will definitely be participating in the Logo submissions.

Sorry, but in the one submission the shard reminds me of a hockey goalie's mask seen from the side and the pipe a hockey stick. Too bad I'm not creative enought to do anything more to help.
